The Rural Museums Network operates a number of events and activities for members, aimed at promoting opportunities to share skills, knowledge and examples of best practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Rural Voices Seminar Series<\/strong> bring expert speakers and museum professionals together to share how rural collections and rural sites can better include a wider range of voices in the stories they tell. These sessions are on the Zoom platform and are FREE for members (institutional and individual) and \u00a35 for non-members. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Rural Museums Network members, we also host informal ‘Chewing the Cud’ sessions most months, which is a chance to chat online (via Zoom) about a particular theme or topic over a virtual coffee. Generally, we ask someone to say a few words about a project that they\u2019re working on, or something close to their heart, for 10-15 minutes and then open up the virtual floor for questions or a discussion and see where that leads.
