She co-curated \u2018<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/wellcomecollection.org\/exhibitions\/Y8VNbhEAAPJM-oki\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/wellcomecollection.org\/exhibitions\/Y8VNbhEAAPJM-oki\" target=\"_blank\">Milk<\/a>\u2019, a major exhibition developed by Wellcome as part of their prominent programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Marianne shared her experiences of working with contemporary creative responses and the focus on decolonial and critical narratives, as well as the challenge of working with a range of media including films, artwork, archival documents, photographs, and objects.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\"><div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ruralmuseums.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/Rupert-Cole.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ruralmuseums.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/Rupert-Cole-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1635\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ruralmuseums.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/Rupert-Cole-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.ruralmuseums.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/Rupert-Cole-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.ruralmuseums.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/Rupert-Cole.jpg 720w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\">\n<p><strong>Rupert Cole&nbsp;<\/strong>is the Curator of Scientific Instruments at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencemuseum.org.uk\/home\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.sciencemuseum.org.uk\/home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Science Museum, London<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He is currently developing \u2018Future of Food\u2019, a major food-related exhibition that will explore the challenges of using the past to look to the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He addressed the ever-problematic complexities of explaining new science and technology, contextualising it socially and culturally.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\"><div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ruralmuseums.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Guy-Baxter.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"253\" height=\"300\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ruralmuseums.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Guy-Baxter-253x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1272\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ruralmuseums.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Guy-Baxter-253x300.jpg 253w, https:\/\/www.ruralmuseums.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Guy-Baxter.jpg 641w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 253px) 100vw, 253px\" \/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p><strong>Guy Baxter&nbsp;<\/strong>has led the archive service at the University of Reading \u2013 including The Museum of English Rural Life (MERL) archive \u2013 since 2008, achieving UK Accredited status and contributing to several interdisciplinary projects across stewardship, access, research and engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He convenes the department\u2019s working groups on Income Generation and Digital and is a member of the Research Libraries UK working group for the Digital Shift.
